I purchased this set out of guilt. I bought Akira and Aedan, the counting cookie jar, and the "matching" donuts. And thought, OMGosh, I better get some blended food choices. I have to say, it's small, but highly educational. Its great to teach your child, how to cook and well as their colors. Very vibrant colors and realistic. Very good buy. The price is fair, considering the quality.

My daughter loves, loves, loves this toy. She watches her mama make a salad every night, so now she has her own salad to pretend with. I think it's great that she can play with something that represents healthy eating too. The product is half felt fabric and half wood, which doesn't bother me. I think it is good to mix textures. I think the amount of veggies is just fine. If there was anymore added, it would just get lost. It's particularly cute when she plates her salad for all of her dolls to eat.
